About the Author
Hi, I am Tushar Gupta.
If you have been reading Digitalfino for a while, you already know the kind of content I put out, which is simple, honest, and useful. But if you are here for the first time and want to know who is actually writing all of this, this page is for you.
I am a 27-year-old finance professional, blogger, and digital creator from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. I have been working in the finance space for the last 6 years, and everything you read on this blog comes from real experience, not just research pulled from the internet.
I started Digitalfino because I wanted to build something that actually helps people. And I am still here, writing and building, for that same reason.
My Background
I was born and raised in Lucknow. This city has shaped a lot of who I am, the way I think, the way I work, and the way I talk to people. I completed my schooling and graduation here, and later went on to do my postgraduation from Lucknow University.
Education gave me the foundation, but the real learning happened on the job.
For the last 6 years, I have been working in the finance industry. Currently, I am working at HCLTech in a finance role that handles the US process at Moorgate. That job has given me a front-row view of how finance actually works in the real world, not the textbook version, but the actual day-to-day version that most people never get to see.
That experience is what makes Digitalfino different from a lot of other finance blogs. When I write about money, budgeting, investments, or financial planning, I am writing from a place of real understanding, not just surface-level knowledge.
What I Do
I wear quite a few hats, and I am comfortable with that.
By profession, I work in finance. By passion, I create content. And in between, I design, develop, and manage everything that goes into running Digitalfino.
Here is a look at the skills I bring to the table:
- Finance Professional: 6 years of hands-on experience in the finance sector, currently working at HCLTech on a US-based finance process
- Content Creator: I write all the articles, guides, and finance content on this blog myself
- WordPress Expert: I build and manage the entire blog on WordPress without any outside help
- Website Developer: I handle the technical side of Digitalfino, from setup to maintenance
- Web Designer: I design the layout, structure, and overall look of the site
- Graphic Designer: All the visuals, thumbnails, and design elements you see here are made by me
- Video Editor: I work on video content whenever I need to explain something visually
Running a blog like Digitalfino requires all of these skills working together. Everything here, the writing, the design, the development, and the tools, is built and managed by me personally.
Why I Write About Finance
Finance was never something I planned to write about. It was something I naturally fell into.
When I started working in the finance industry, I realized very quickly how much confusion exists around money, even among people who earn well and work hard. Most people do not know how to read a financial statement, how SIPs work, what an EMI actually costs them over time, or how to plan for a goal five years down the line.
And that gap bothered me.
I felt like there was a real need for a space where someone could come and get clear, honest answers about money without needing a finance degree to understand them. So I started writing. And once I started, I could not stop.
Over time, that writing became Digitalfino, a full blog dedicated to finance content, tools, and practical money guidance for everyday people.
Six years in, I still believe in that original idea. And I still write every single piece on this blog with the same goal in mind, which is to make finance simple and accessible for everyone.
My Writing Style
I am not the kind of writer who uses big words to sound smart.
If something can be said simply, I will say it simply. I have always believed that good content is content that connects with the reader, and you cannot connect with someone if they are confused by what you are writing.
So when you read an article on Digitalfino, you will notice that:
- The language is plain and easy to follow
- There are no unnecessary technical terms without explanation
- The advice is practical, not just theoretical
- Every piece is written keeping a real person in mind, not a finance expert, but someone who just wants to understand their money better
I have been writing in this niche for 6 years now, and my approach has always been the same. Write like you are talking to a friend who asked you a genuine question. Be honest. Be clear. Be helpful.
Beyond the Blog
When I am not writing or working, I am usually learning something new.
The digital world moves fast, and I genuinely enjoy keeping up with it. Whether it is a new design trend, a development tool, or a shift in how financial content is being consumed, I stay curious and keep updating my skills.
Lucknow will always be home for me, but Digitalfino has given me a platform that goes well beyond this city. And that is something I am genuinely proud of.

A Note to Every Reader
Every article I write on Digitalfino takes time and thought. I do not publish something just to fill space. If it goes up on this blog, it is because I believe it adds value to someone reading it.
Finance is a subject that affects everyone, every day. How much you save, how much you spend, how you plan for the future, all of it matters. And I want Digitalfino to be a place that genuinely helps you navigate those decisions a little better.
